Leadership And Creativity

Be it the field of science or technology or be it the field of arts or literature they survived because the creative leaders in these fields constantly bathed the humanity with new concepts and new ideas.

But in today’s fast paced life when everything is measured in terms of profitability, people hesitate experimenting with new ideas for fear of failure, for fear of ridicule or for fear of losing their well established career.

Leaders since time immemorial have used creative ideas to further their causes; these leaders wrote the history of mankind and were always desirous to welcome new ideas for the benefit of the whole humanity.

When we procure a piece of equipment, a new production line, different technology, etc. we certainly support every effort to maximize the output. It is not unheard of to take measures requiring well beyond the originally budgeted levels in an attempt to maximize the efficiency of the system. Actually, 98% is often considered unsatisfactory and for good reasons!

A Definite Aim

David Jones was a British teenager who wanted to make a career out of his love for music. He was playing and performing his music before he ever graduated from school. He become a leader of several bands and finally recorded his first album.

The album received positive reviews by England’s harshest music critics, yet it sold little. In a matter of months, David was homeless and living on the streets. To make matters worse, a new popular London band called The Monkeys was roaring across the headlines and the country with a bandleader who had the same name that he did!

The Essential Elements Of Powerful Communication

Whenever you speak to another person or a group, you’re selling something: products, ideas, viewpoints, or simply yourself. Your goal is to influence or persuade the listener to buy what you say, and your success as a communicator stems less from what you say than from your ability to make an emotional contact with the listener.

People buy on emotion and justify with fact. You may come up with logical reasons to buy a particular house or car, but you really make a preconscious emotional buying decision, then, justify it with intellect. You evaluate a speaker the same way. People buy based on emotional contact, then consider the ideas or facts.

Financial Expert Finds God In Gaza

This leader - this genuine man of God, Philip, having been involved in what could be regarded as tremendous success in Samaria north of Jerusalem has a most astonishing intervention once that phase of work is completed. In Acts Chapter 8 in the New Testament, an angel comes to him and speaks to him, “Go south to the road - the desert road - to Gaza.” This is the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza, which is on our news bulletins regularly.

Philip is being removed from the scene of exciting revival to the wilderness - from the fertile valleys of Samaria to the desert - why?
