Art, Music And Literature Based Communities

What drives people? Some may say inspiration, our ambitions and needs; this is not very far from saying that people are driven by the inspiration provided by art and music as well as by the need to quench our literary thirst. For most people reading a book, watching a movie or listening to their favorite music isn’t enough of an experience, the most important part is to interact and get validation from people with the same interests about our point of views and opinions.

Aiming For The Best Targets In A Self-defense Situation!

When discussing self-defense for beginners and those new to the realm of self-protection, I’m often asked…

“If I just want to get out of there and need to shut this guy down fast, what are the best areas of his body to hit?”

I love questions like this, because it tells me that the person asking it is thinking strategically rather than simply mechanically. If you ask questions, not related as much to “what” it is that you can do but, “how,” “where,” “when,” and “why”

…it tells me that you’re thinking about results, effectiveness, and efficiency

The Art Of Negotiation, Investing In Art, Investing In You, Its About The Money Honey! Part Two

Part Two:

Ask questions, sheesh, never be afraid to ask questions.

Don’t be intimidated by people, they had a first day in kindergarten as well, don’t let people fool you. We all have a beginning to every single thing.

Compare your information with others and define your own set of standards that you want to allow as part of your artful deal making.

Feel good about yourself. You have worked at your technique and it has cost you MONEY to get to where you are. Brushes alone are quite expensive. If you don’t take care of them like me you are buying them constantly. Paints add up and then there is the space you paint in or sculpt in. It all adds up.

Silver Judaica - Pure Sacred Objects

Beautiful handcrafted vases, wine decanters and candle holders all with an antique finish, and prices can be quite high, wondering why?

This is because antique Judaica is expensive but replicas sell like hot cakes all over the world. Although Judaica is made in gold, silver and bronze, copper with an inlay of precious stones, pure silver has been the most common material for the creation of Judaica. The range of religious products are usually Besamim, wine decanters, candlesticks, Etrong boxes, Hanukahs, honey dishes, jewelry, sculptures, Yad torah pointers, liquor cups, menorahs, Mezuzzot and many other items of both utility and decoration.

Fairy Princess Crafts For Your Daughter

Fairy princesses are swiftly becoming a popular thing for many girls to admire and love. They wish that they could be fairy princesses, and want to emulate what their favorite fairies are like. If your kids like fairy princesses, then they will definitely like to do crafts based on this. They will feel great because they put in the effort to make the stuff themselves. This will add to the kind of fun that they have with the projects.

When Is Real Art Fake

As a self-taught artist I have not received an extensive introduction to art philosophy. Yet, I admit I am curious, and I have once or twice been confronted with the question of my art being “fake.”

My curiosity was recently rekindled as I read another artist’s expression of fear that she might unwittingly produce a “fake” piece. Obviously she had no idea what the definition of such a piece would be, so she had no clue as to how to avoid the creation of a fake.
