The first step to find out if someone is married is to just ask. Many people overlook the obvious especially when they meet the right person, or they think they have met the right person. I have to admit that I have forgotten to ask for a person’s marital status on a couple of occasions, I think this was down to sheer animal attraction rather than thinking straight.
If you are thinking of taking things further with your partner, you need to know all you can about them. Everyone and I mean everyone has a skeleton or two in the closet; it’s just the size of the bones that differ. Some people may have cheated on a school test, others may have shoplifted when they were younger and of course the obvious one; some people may still be married.
