The #1 Way To Save The Planet And Become Healthier Starting Today

For years I considered becoming a vegetarian. But did I really want to miss burgers and morph into a tie-dyed hippie? When I finally made the switch–the payoff was astounding. Some factoids: Skip a pound of beef and you’ve saved the equivalent water for a year of showers. Every vegan saves an acre of trees a year, and an average of 2,400 animals in a lifetime. Plus I had infinitely more energy, felt super healthy, my skin and eyes were clear.

Toxic Relationships - How They Affect Wellness And Well-being

The goal of this brief article is to reveal the derogatory affect of toxic relationships on one’s overall health, and to offer tips for dealing with them.

Recently I was talking with my doctor, and he spoke about the impact of toxic relationships on health and well-being. He told me he sees, on a daily basis, the adverse role bad relationships play in cancer, heart disease and other serious illnesses.

In particular, people who are fighting cancer must be very mindful of their relationships, he said, and take immediate steps to improve any stressful ones or those with derogatory effects.

Lullaby To Eternal Hell?

One fact that must be accepted by all is that our presence on this earth will come to an end. Various theories have been put forth regarding what awaits us after our journey through life has been completed. Many have been assuaged by noted authors or from the pulpit that all will be well for us in the next world if we simply obey tradition or follow the road that makes us feel good inside. Unfortunately, this mindset may lead to an eternally fatal mistake.

World economies will falter without the secure supply of plentiful and affordable energies. Fossil fuels are emitting harmful greenhouse gases. September 11th Remembered 5 years after the start of the Iraq War.

The 5 year anniversary of the start of the Iraq war had me thinking of the event leading to the start of that war.  I did some research and well..  These are my thoughts.

There is much in the news these days about the 5 years the United States has been in the Iraq War.  On March 20,, 2003 we began an invasion of another country and we have occupied this country since then.  This began my thinking of how we got there.  I like to get the fact straight so I have researched information on net in order to get a clear picture of the events leading us to war.  Clearly the catalyst to the Iraq war is the attacks on September 11, 2001.

Poverty Needs To End For All People

Countries of the world: Face the fact that poverty is killing so many children that have not even started to live yet. Give children every where a chance to live. Lets make this the worlds top priority problem to solve. To long children through out the world have gone hungry while governments are doing nothing to change this. I believe that we must find quicker and better ways to feed all these forgotten children. People from all countries need to make the changed needed to feed these people and children. Give life back to these children in all countries now and stop the death. I am tired of hearing that every thing is being done to feed these children.

Survive Power Outages: High Winds, Snow, And Other Natural Disasters Take Out Power

When your lights go dim, you may wonder what the problem is? Or, you may know? Either way, you have a lot to do. I’m going to share some survival tips for Power Outages, resulting from recent experience.

1. Locate light sources and keep them handy.

Light Sources include candles, flashlights, camp lanterns, and oil lamps. Most homes have a few of these items being used as ‘decorator accessories’. Candles in glass jars are particularly appropriate for lighting during a power outage. In fact, I keep a few extra in the cupboard just for this purpose.
