Chinese Cooking Tips

To tell if the oil in a wok is hot enough for cooking, simply stick a chopstick into it. When the oil around the chopstick sizzles, you can begin frying.
Always cut ingredients into even-sized pieces for a stir fry. Not only does it make for better presentation, the food also cooks more evenly.

Allow deep fried food that is meant for a stir fry in a double cooking process to first rest and let its moisture evaporate. This will ensure that the surfaces remain crisp during the second stage of the double cooking process.

Coffee And Tea Parties

coffee and tea to the adults, the children can
be entertained with fruit juices, icy cold water
and fruit bars chilled or frozen. Games and
songs, while some consider old-fashioned,
will delight the younger set while the adults
sit around and sip, taste, and converse.

First Find Your Chicken!

It’s also the most abused and taken for granted!

There are chickens and chickens, and not all chickens are created equal.

In the UK and USA we seem to have become obsessed with the idea of cheap food. And the cheaper the better! If we can go along to our local supermarket and buy a chicken for a couple of pounds or a few dollars, we become wildly overjoyed and start acting like we have discovered some sort of culinary Holy Grail.
