1923 Silver Certificate: How Much Is This Certificate Worth?

The 1923 Silver Certificate is one of the most popular paper notes. Because of its large size, the 1923 note was affectionately given the nicknames of ‘Horseblanket’ or ‘Saddelblanket.’ In fact, it was the last large-size certificate to be minted. The value of these notes wholly depend upon the condition of the bill itself . . .

The 1923 Silver Certificate is one of the most commonly collected and most popular paper notes.  You may not know this but all U.S.Currency that was minted prior to 1928 is larger than that of a modern paper bill - approximately one-half inch wider and over one inch longer!

Noah Had A Big Boat

The author describes in a humorous way why he is unable to accept the story of Noah and his ark because of elements in the story he finds illogical.

As a kid I remember hearing the story of Noah and his ark and I believed every word of it. But as an adult, I am beginning to have some misgivings about this tale, mainly because I have developed the ability to think.

Are There More Than One Killer Rabbits?

The first ‘Killer Rabbit‘ was a fictional beast created for the  movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Then there came the true story of President Carter and the Killer Rabbit, when the Killer Rabbit decided to take a swim. Since then we have seen many killer rabbits.

The Killer Rabbit of Caebannog was first introduced as a fictitious beast in the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail.  Bors, one of King Arthur’s manly knights of the round table, had been ordered to cut off the head of the Guardian Beast, known as the White Rabbit. Boldly wielding his sword, Bors approached the Cave, only to have his head chopped off by the Killer. All this was accompanied by the sound of a tin opener at work. The knights then mounted a frontal attack, only to be driving off by the Guardian Beast.

Gallery Wrapped Photo On Canvas Easy As 1, 2, 3

Everyone loves visiting a museum and appreciating the fine art of a picture gallery. The beautiful paintings seem to have a magical feel, as being almost larger than life. Every detail of paint strokes on the canvas seems to have its own story, all intertwined to create a masterpiece. This is what people mean when they say that a painting speaks to them, as if the art work itself is sending them a personal message. This is possible because of the surface of the painting itself. Only with canvas can paint and ink truly reach its full potential to create a piece of art. For many years it was impossible to convey this same effect with photography. With special paper, the process of getting pictures developed and printed was a long and arduous procedure. The outcome was a photo on paper that usually didn’t capture the full effect of the moment it was intending to immortalize.

Disco Alert

I don’t mean to alarm anyone and I certainly don’t mean to be an extremist, (Okay, the article on the destruction of mankind as we know it may have been borderline) but there is a rumor that, if true, could cause extreme havoc in the community and the release of thousands of people taking to the streets and screaming at the top of their lungs, like in a bad Japanese monster flick. I’m speaking about, of course, the return of Disco!

The identity of Naruto’s father has been the subject of speculation for Naruto fans for a long time. There have been heated debates - even full-blown internet flaming wars - about the mystery that is Naruto’s father.

The Fourth Hokage Theory

Most people believed that Naruto’s father was the Yondaime or the Fourth Hokage. And since Naruto is an orphan and the fourth died fighting with the Kyuubi - it all made sense.

Art, Music And Literature Based Communities

What drives people? Some may say inspiration, our ambitions and needs; this is not very far from saying that people are driven by the inspiration provided by art and music as well as by the need to quench our literary thirst. For most people reading a book, watching a movie or listening to their favorite music isn’t enough of an experience, the most important part is to interact and get validation from people with the same interests about our point of views and opinions.

Mermaid Tattoos - The Ultimate In Feminine Mystique

The ancient Greeks had their Sirens, whose haunting songs lured many a seafarer to his death. And the fifteenth and sixteenth century explorers returned to Europe with tales of sea creatures who had the heads and upper torsos of a woman and fishes’ tails instead of legs. They claimed that these mysterious and beautiful creatures were as deadly as the Sirens of old, and would lure men into the water by pretending they were drowning, only to squeeze their unsuspecting victims to death.
